Nothing is sweeter than a sleeping baby.

Hello, my name is Benson and I want to tell you about my crazy Mommy and Daddy. They don't like to rock me to sleep anymore or let me have a bottle to fall asleep with, so they decided to let me put myself to sleep. I DON'T LIKE THIS IDEA!!!! and so usually I cry for a very long time and today I cried for so long, that by the time I fell asleep, this is what I looked like...

Home Sweet Home

I thought you all might like to see some pictures of our new house. It's actually a duplex, and we own the whole thing. (Well, we don't really OWN it yet, but we are paying for it!). I guess we are officially landlords now, which is helpful in paying for the house. We live on the left (east) side. The duplex is split right down the middle, so we have a main floor and a basement and our renters have the same exact thing, but mirrored of ours. So please join me on a tour of our home... (please remember that we are not completely moved in yet, so if you stumble over a box on your way through, please don't curse.)

The view from the outside. Ours is the left door, and our driveway goes on the left side to the back where we have a garage.
This is the living room. The view when you walk in the front door.
Another view of the living room. The opening on the left goes into the kitchen.
This is the kitchen/ dining room. Coming from the living room
Actually, this is coming from the living room, the other view was from the hall.
Another view of the kitchen. That is the entrance to the living room on the left.
My buffet/ hutch. I got a GREAT deal on this from KSL.com, I LOVE IT!!!
The hallway going from the kitchen to the bedrooms and bathroom.
This is the bathroom. Pay no attention to the boy in the tub. Notice that the tub and tile are pink. You can't see it from this picture, but there are pink flowers on the toilet and the sink. Also, all of the walls throughout the house were pink, but we painted them before we moved in (thanks, Grandpa Mike).
This is Benson's room. We painted the walls green. (His bedroom window looks out to the backyard).

Our bedroom (That window looks out to the front yard)
These are the stairs going downstairs. Notice the boxes down there, we haven't gotten it all unpacked yet. We'll have to revisit the basement when we get some shelves put up and the computer stuff all put together. Also, we did not paint the walls in the stairway, so they are still pink, just a reminder of what used to be.
This is our backyard. The garage is all ours. The renters have their own carport on the other side.

We'd like to thank you for taking this tour with us. Please remember to come back soon. You are always invited.

Rodee-OH

I know it's late, but I wanted to post some pictures of our summer. Here are some of us at the Days of 47 Rodeo at the Energy Solutions Arena. We couldn't resist getting Benson this cute litttle cowboy hat.

Every year we go to the 24th of July parade in Ogden. It just happened to be during Benson's nap-time. Thanks to Grandma Jannie and Aunt Shawnee for helping us out with him.

This was our view during the parade.
