planting

I want to start this post by saying that I have the most amazing mom in the world. On Monday she came and helped me get my flower beds all ready to plant, then she took me and my grandma to the greenhouse to get flowers, then she helped my grandma with her flowers for a bit and then came back to my house to help me plant all of my millions of flowers, then she went with my sister and helped her do a sewing project, and after a day full of helping all of us, she went home and mowed her acre of grass... what an amazing lady. If I could ever do half of what my mother does, I would be happy!

So here are some pictures of what's been going on around here...

The "Before" picture... (actually, this isn't truly before, because there were LOTS of weeds in there before we started.)

My mom and me planting flowers

Danny says that sometimes you sew and sometimes you reap. We are sewing.

The after picture.

I just thought this was a funny picture of Benson. He's been pulling a lot of funny faces lately.

These are for Emily... Benson sure reminds me of Zack when he's wearing his clothes. This outfit really isn't as big as this picture makes it look.

awwww... I love it when Benson wears Zack's clothes too. And Zack has those exact same green dinosaur jammies. Totally cute. I think Mom is amazing too, by the way. I just wish she could come help me more often! :)

Yeah! Finally you posted! Your house looks cute and the flowers look great :) Benson is cute as always. I was so sad yesterday. I decided to take a nap with William and when I woke up, there was a message to say that you had gone swimming. I called your mom's house but you had already left to go home :( Sorry I missed ya!

Wow Natalie, Thanks for the nice compliment. I'm really not that amazing, I love spending time with all of you kids and I always love when I can help. I love the results of working outside too. Thanks for the fun day!

I'm glad you planted flowers. They look fabulous in your yard. I still think you should have planted tomatoes... Oh well. I agree that mom is a super-woman!!! Thanks for posting!
